In the course of developing SK8parkLIST.com, we have photographed and ridden over 400 skate parks in the US and Canada. Even in today's wave of increasingly impressive skate park efforts, Wormhoudt parks remain at the top of their field. These guys produce uniquely successful parks, with creative lines, that are fun to skate and push the abilities of the skaters that ride them. When we set out on our road trips, the Wormhoudt name pretty much guarantees we're gonna have a good time! We're big fans.

Wormhoudt Inc. delivered the whole package, from meeting with the skaters on the design of the park, working with the local skate association on issues, working with the contractor answering questions on the detail construction, and working with the City's Engineer. We have built three skate parks to date that were designed by Wormhoudt Inc. They have been at it for quite some time now and it shows in their designs and ability to put out a set of plans that are complete from a contractors point of view. We held interviews with all of the top skate park designers, and were immediately impressed with Zach's professionalism, his list of recommendations, his incredible creativity and his style and approach. We were fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Zach closely on our 13,000 sq. foot project which earned us 2003 State California Park and Recreation Society design award, and a very good rating from thrasher Magazine of an 8.5.
